As the Graphic Design Intern at Elisco Adveritsing Creative Cafe', I had the opportunity to work on client projects and develop professional pieces.
This was a multimedia project that I created for Elisco Advertising Creative Cafe'. Before beginning this project, I was given the design brief for a 10 second spot. I never worked with a sports client, nor did I know much about hockey at this point. I was able to do research on hockey advertisements and what type of audience they try to reach.
The message "The Puck Stops Here" was developed by Trib Total Media along with Elisco Advertising. I incorporated that message and developed a short storyboard.
The elements used in this video were a combination of stock photography and my own graphics created in Adobe Photoshop. The video was created in Adobe After Effects CS6, using keyfames, typography, simple effects, and free license music and sound effects.
I did not know where this video was going to be viewed, and to my surprise, it was placed on NHL.com as a Pittsburgh Penguins ad. This was exciting to me as an intern because my work was being viewed by the Greater Pittsburgh area and more!
I am most proud of this piece during my time as an intern. I was able to prove to myself that even when I do not know where my work is going, it is produced to my best ability. You never know who your designs are going to reach. Always put your best foot forward.
